Merging one ticket into another doesn't update the Last Update date for that ticket. We do quite a lot of ticket merging and this is causing us some problems.
aTech don't think this is a bug saying that we should use the Updated column. We have tried using that column but it's just too verbose for us, updating any time anything is updated with the ticket makes our filters very hard to use :-/
I would politely suggest that merging a ticket into another ticket should be treated in the same way as when a reply is posted to a ticket. In every other way that is how the ticket looks it just doesn't currently update the Last Update field.
