Adding "follow ups" to macros

Would it be possible to include adding follow ups to the macro options?

My quest is to create a macro button to resolve a ticket. This button will send an email out to the assigned user/team and to the customer, mark the ticket as resolved, and then what's currently missing, add a follow up to close the ticket after 48 hours.

If anyone knows of any other way to do this, I'd really welcome your comments.
