It could be useful to be able to view the source and/or header of an email in many cases. Examples:

- When a ticket has been incorrectly tagged as spam, we can use this to identify why, and adjust the filter accordingly
- We can identify certain properties of the sender, often useful in troubleshooting support requests (like, if the ticket in itself is about email issues)
- When there are presentation issues with the ticket. We have experienced tickets to show up blank, when they in fact were not.
