Improvements to merging tickets

I'd love to see a couple of improvements to the existing ticket merging functionality:
Exclude the current ticket from the list of tickets in the "Merge into..." dialogue.
Add a tab to the "Merge into..." dialogue to see all other tickets from the same customer.
Allow merging of tickets from different sources (where it makes sense); for example e-mail import and the API.

  • On the ticket list, I selected multiple ticket checkboxes, then in the dropdown at the bottom, expected to see a "merge tickets" option. That'd give a high-level overview of the tickets being merged, rather than just looking at a specific ticket and having to wonder if you're merging the right tickets.
